Every great deck starts with a solid base.
The Beams & Braces team built the subframe using UC4 pressure-treated timber joists mounted on ground screws for long-term stability.
To protect against moisture, the full structure was wrapped with Trex Protect joist tape, extending the lifespan of the frame and ensuring the deck remains durable year after year.
Carpenters Mate Fixings – Built for Strength and Warranty Protection
To maintain Trex’s warranty standards, we used Carpenters Mate Hex Head Screws (90 mm & 140 mm) throughout the substructure and Carpenters Mate HD Screws for securing the Trex Signature railing posts.
These fixings provide superior holding power, corrosion resistance, and precision.
With a lifetime warranty, they ensure the integrity of the entire build and preserve the full Trex system warranty — offering homeowners complete peace of mind.
Finishing Touches – Trex Signature Railing System
The deck was finished with a Trex Signature charcoal-black railing, chosen for its sleek, modern aesthetic that complements the grey tones of the decking.
Hidden fasteners were used across the surface for a flawless finish, and matching fascia boards completed the edges for a crisp, professional look.
