This is a genuine installation feature, it reduces waste during cuts and gives you flexibility if you ever want to refresh a heavily-worn area. That said, once installed with hidden fixings, flipping boards in situ isn't practical, the benefit is primarily at the installation stage.
Yes, Trex Enhance Naturals can be used on elevated decks. The key consideration for any raised structure is the subframe: joist sizing, bearer spans, and post footings must be correctly engineered for the height involved. We handle all structural design as part of our installation service and can supply structural calculations if required by your local authority.
A brush-down to remove leaves and debris, followed by a rinse with warm soapy water, is all you need for routine maintenance. For tougher marks, algae, bird droppings, food stains, Trex CleanSweep cleaner works brilliantly. Never use a pressure washer above 1500 psi or hold the nozzle closer than 8 inches from the board surface. We provide full care instructions at handover.
