Composite Decking
Composite decking is made from a blend of wood fibre and recycled plastic. It looks and feels like natural timber but requires virtually no maintenance, no sanding, staining, or sealing. Trex composite decking, which we specialise in, is made from 95% recycled materials and comes with a 25-year limited warranty.
Composite decking typically costs more upfront than pressure-treated timber, but significantly less over time when you factor in the maintenance timber requires. Most residential decking projects in Norfolk range from £6,000+ depending on size, chosen Trex range, and any additional features like lighting or balustrades. We provide free, fixed-price quotes with no hidden costs.
Trex composite decking has a brushed finish that provides good slip resistance even when wet. It significantly outperforms smooth timber decking in wet conditions. That said, any outdoor surface can be slippery in extreme conditions, we can advise on the best profile for your specific situation.
Trex composite decking requires minimal maintenance. A brush down and occasional wash with warm soapy water is all that's needed to keep it looking great. Unlike timber, you'll never need to sand, stain, paint, or seal it. We recommend clearing debris from between boards seasonally to prevent any build-up.
Trex Enhance is the entry-level range, great value, 95% recycled content, natural wood tones. Trex Transcend is the premium range with richer woodgrain patterns, more colour options, and a capped four-sided shell for maximum protection. Trex Signature is the architectural range, a sleek, contemporary profile with a modern aesthetic. We'll help you choose the right range for your project and budget.
Garden Rooms
Most garden rooms fall under permitted development rights and do not require planning permission, provided they meet certain conditions, for example, they must be single storey, not exceed a certain height or footprint, and not be used as a primary dwelling. We'll advise you on whether your specific project needs planning permission during your free site visit.
Yes, all our garden rooms are fully insulated and include electrics as standard. We use high-performance insulation in the walls, floor, and roof so the space is comfortable in winter and cool in summer. You can add a dedicated heating unit, air conditioning, or both. Many of our clients use theirs as a home office or gym every single day of the year.
A standard insulated garden room typically takes 1 to 3 weeks on site depending on size and specification. This includes groundwork, the timber frame structure, insulation, cladding, roofing, windows, and interior finishing. We'll give you a clear build programme at quote stage.
